He has had numerous cuts on Major and Independent Labels Domestically and Internationally. Included in those, is the recent placement of his song ?I CAN?T HIDE (WHAT?S IN MY HEART)? on the Peak/Concord project ?LOVE & LIFE? by American Idol star LATOYA LONDON. His collaboration with Grammy winning producer Morgan Ames, yielded the song ?SAFE WITH YOU?, which appeared on the Polygram Album ?FIRST CLASS?, by artist Donna McAfee. He also wrote four (4) songs for the project "THIS IS WHAT I DO" by Bermuda Triangle R&B/Pop/Crossover recording artist, TIMMY MAIA. Additionally he?s recently finished writing and producing three tracks for singer/actress AMY BRAVERMAN. Amy's appeared in Film ("JUST LOOKING" directed by Jason Alexander from Seinfeld), on Broadway in "WILL ROGERS FOLLIES", on Late Night with David Letterman, Saturday Night Live, Rosie O'Donnell, etc., etc. She's got quite an impressive bio for a nineteen-year-old, which has prompted Steve to agree to help shop her project. Also on his songwriting/production schedule, is a project by a new, very hot Jamaican group named TOISIS. Steve?s recently returned from Jamaica where he wrote and produced two tracks for their upcoming album in Kingston. They've got some very strong backing, including the Disney organization and Air Jamaica. One of those tracks, "I'VE GOT WHAT YOU NEED", can be previewed on Steve's Portfolio here. Recently completed are also collaborations with BERNARD JACKSON from the group, SURFACE, (Remember "SHOWER ME WITH YOUR LOVE"?), Peter McCann, (writer of Jennifer Warren?s smash ?RIGHT TIME OF THE NIGHT?), and Lisa Ratner, (writer of Barbra Streisands ?KISS ME IN THE RAIN?). A classically trained pianist, Steve has performed on Hammond B-3 and Piano with such notable ?Pop/R&B? artists as Edgar Winter, B.B. King, James Brown, Peter Criss from KISS and The Shaboo & Mohegan Sun Allstars. Over the last several years, he and his publishing company, Hollywood Music East aka East of Hollywood, have established a reputation for writing and producing strong, radio friendly, Pop, R&B/Crossover, and Inspirational tracks that have earned him the respect of several luminaries in the business including Nile Rodgers, Tracey Edmonds, and Jaymes Foster. "Hollywood" is a board member of SGA, and a member of NARAS, NAPM, and is currently a SESAC affiliated writer with both SESAC (EAST OF HOLLYWOOD) and BMI (HOLLYWOOD MUSIC EAST) affiliated Publishing Companies.
